Fake delivery SMS scams: small fee request, high fraud risk
Scammers send parcel messages with a small payment request. The form can capture card data and trigger follow-up account takeover.
Immediate red flags
- Unknown sender and suspicious domain.
- Urgent countdown language.
- Payment verification flow outside official courier apps.
If you already submitted data
Block your card, rotate important passwords, and alert close contacts if your messaging accounts are at risk.
