1. General Rule & App Store Purchases
ScamBuster AI may offer digital subscriptions or one-time purchases. While we use third-party services (such as RevenueCat) to manage subscription access, the actual billing and payment processing for mobile apps is handled entirely by the respective app stores.
If you purchase our services through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, your purchase is subject to their specific refund policies. We cannot directly process or issue refunds for purchases made through mobile app stores. To request a refund, you must apply directly through your Apple or Google account settings.
2. Website Checkout (RevenueCat Web Billing)
If you purchase premium directly on our website, checkout may be served through RevenueCat Web Billing with partner payment processors. In these cases, refund requests should still be sent to support@scambuster.cz, and we will route processing according to the active billing provider and applicable consumer laws.
3. Direct Purchases & EU Right of Withdrawal
For purchases made directly through our website (if applicable): Under European Union consumer protection laws, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days.
However, exception for digital content applies: By purchasing a digital subscription or digital service and requesting immediate access, you explicitly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided or access is granted.
4. Exceptional Cases
For direct billing (outside of app stores), we may issue refunds at our sole discretion in the following exceptional cases:
- Duplicate charges caused by billing errors on our end.
- Technical failures that permanently prevent access to the purchased features.
- Other cases explicitly required by applicable consumer protection laws.
5. How to Request a Refund
For eligible direct purchases, please send a request to support@scambuster.cz within 14 days of the transaction. You must include your account email, transaction receipt, and the reason for the request.
6. Processing
If approved, refunds are processed through the original payment provider. The settlement timing depends on your bank or card issuer and typically takes 5 to 10 business days.
